Matching Contribution
Matching contribution is generated by IIT Bombay. As part of the Memorandum of Understanding Signed between the Ministry of Education and IIT Bombay, it was agreed that a matching contribution amount equal to the financial support awarded by the Ministry of Education ( Rs. 1000 Cr. ) should be generated by IIT Bombay. Over the past few years, we have generated sufficient resources in the assigned areas of the IoE Scheme & as of the close of 2022-2023, the total matching contribution organized is Rs. 1365.73 Cr.
